This service is available to all our members and is completely free. If you are not already a member, please register, and your membership details will be sent to you as soon as possible. All childcare providers in our region (and those setting up) can become members at no charge.

Use the Expert Direct Search to find out what others have asked, and what the experts have already said on the subject.

Can't find what you need?

Click "Add a question" and simply write down what you want to know. This question will then be read by our staff, and usually sent on to a relevant expert for an answer. You will be told your question has been submitted, and when the answer comes back, the question and answer will be posted on the site.  You will be e-mailed to tell you that the answer is ready and on the site. Your details are not published, but your answered question then adds to our growing source of information for all our members. Answers usually can be provided within 48 hours.

What if I ask the "wrong" thing?

Don't worry about asking something which perhaps has been asked before - we will let you know if this happens, and direct you to the information you need.

And don't worry that you may be asking a simple question that "everyone knows" - this site is for all levels of experience, and if you don't know the answer, then it is useful to make sure the question you have is answered and published. And no-one will know (except you) that you asked it.

All questions received so far have been relevant, interesting and have provided really useful factual guidance at many levels for all members.
